Players can therefore be 100% confident a security breach is effectively impossible, as the system doesn’t even know what the cards are until the hand is over. ![]() Because the graphics are being generated retrospectively, not only will they not be available to the production crew, players will not need to scan their cards on the RFID readers until the end of the hand, yet the cards will still appear in the graphics from the start of the hand. Instead of converting the RFID data into graphics in real time, the conversion won’t take place until after the game’s security delay, just before the audience sees it. Poker games are streamed with a security delay of somewhere between 15 minutes and a few hours, and the next major PokerGFX update will take advantage of this fact to introduce a new concept I call Trustless Security.
